Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026. This page explains what information is handled when you use Easy Crochet Hub.
Information we collect
Easy Crochet Hub doesn't offer accounts or comments, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers. Checkout isn't open yet, so no payment or order information is collected.
Newsletter signup
Our newsletter isn't live yet. The signup form doesn't send or store your email address anywhere. When the newsletter launches, we'll update this policy to explain which provider we use and how you can unsubscribe.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
Shopping cart
Items you add to your cart are saved only in your own browser's local storage, as a list of product names. They aren't sent to us. You can clear them by emptying your cart or clearing your browser data.
Cookies
Easy Crochet Hub doesn't set any cookies for tracking or advertising.
Embedded YouTube videos
The homepage and category pages feature “Watch & Learn” tutorials by independent creators, hosted on YouTube. To show each video's preview image, your browser loads that thumbnail from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), which receives your IP address. The homepage only links to the category pages; it doesn't embed a player. The video itself loads only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube (Google) may then store data in your browser under its own privacy policy. Use the “Watch on YouTube” link instead if you prefer to visit YouTube directly.
When checkout opens
Payments will be processed by PayPal. You'll pay on PayPal's site, so we never see your card or bank details; PayPal handles them under its own privacy statement. To deliver your downloads we'll store a record of your order: an order number, PayPal's order and payment IDs, the products bought, the amount, and the order status. We'll update this policy before checkout opens if anything else is stored.
